FRIENDCRAFT DAY - Fall 2007

Friendcraft Day for Fall 2007 will be held in the Fairfax area of Northern Virginia on Saturday, October 13, 2007.

All events are free and open to the public. If you will be in the Northern Virginia area on October 13 and would like to attend, email us to let us know you will be coming and to request the directions to the clubhouse where we will be meeting.

Paul Barrass (UK Friendcraft Director) and Hiroko Ohkawa (Japan Friendcraft Director) will be flying in to join Mary Ann Chang and Friendcraft members and friends for this special day of friendship, self-discovery, and discussions.

Here is our schedule for Friendcraft Day for Fall 2007:

10 AM - Amazing Friendships (Presentation and Q&A Session)

Paul Barrass, author of Amazing Friendships: How to make and keep good friends the Friendcraft Way, and Mary Ann Chang, named the "Friendship Guru" by The Connection newspapers, will talk about the keys to making friends and having great friendships. A Question and Answer session will follow the presentation.

12 Noon - Brown-Bag Lunch and Social Time at the clubhouse

Noon brown-bag lunch with Paul Barrass, Mary Ann Chang, Hiroko Ohkawa and other Friendcraft leaders, members, and friends, immediately following the 10 AM presentation on Amazing Friendships.

Bring your own lunch. We will provide beverages and light snacks. This is a time for chatting and getting to know people in a relaxed and informal setting. Indoor and outdoor seating available.

1:30 PM - Life Journey Workshop with Paul Barrass

The Friendcraft Life Journey Workshop will be lead by Paul Barrass. Paul will lead you through the Life-Journey experience and provide insightful answer to questions you may wish to ask resulting from your reflections on events in your life.

The Life Journey Workshop is a special time for reflection on your personal journey through life so far. What you will get out of it will depend on where you are in your journey of life and what answers and insights you at looking to find.

The Life Journey Workshop helps you to discover unique meaning in your life, the keys your past holds for having a more satisfying life today, what course in life will be your unique path to happiness, and much more. It is for people at all stages of life. The workshop will end at 4:00PM.

 

Amazing Friendships: The Art of Making Friends
November 3 & 9, 2007 – 9 AM to 12 Noon
Fairfax, Virginia, USA

The Friendcraft course Amazing Friendships: The Art of Making Friends will be held on the Saturday mornings of November 3 and 10, 2007, from 9 AM until Noon, at Marshall High School near Tysons Corner in Northern Virginia, just off the Capital Beltway. May Ann Chang will be teaching the class, which is being offered through Fairfax County Adult Continuing Education.
